‘Can we Play?’ is a playful investigation into the shared practice of four movement artists based in Chester. Within this improvised sharing we explore some of the structures of capoeira in relation to improvised movement composition and live sound. Opportunities arise for playing together as well as live voice and instrumentation influenced by the call and response of the capoeira tradition. Tilt (March 2013, Liverpool) was the first public sharing of this playful, improvised exploration.
